There are three ways to calculate emissions per person; consumption-based, production-based and territorial. In general, it can be said that it is the extent geographically that differs, ie whether the emissions occur within the country’s borders or if you also include outside. The consumption-based are those that also include the emissions for the shirt that have been produced in, for example, India. 

An additional calculation method is Overshoot Day, which is the day of the year that our country has used up all our resources.
